Strangers from distant lands, friends of old, you have been summoned here to answer the threat of Mordor on a Full Day Lord Of The Rings Tour. Thus we will travel into Tolkien’s Middle-earth and discover the mystical lands that inspired the movies.
This is the ultimate tour for every Lord of the Rings true fan! Spend a full day deep in the scenic movie locations, hear tales and behind the scenes filming stories, try replica props and walk in ancient forests. Our local guides will transport you through the magical lands of Queenstown and Glenorchy, bringing the films to life for you. This tour includes a light lunch ($20 voucher) in a Queenstown café as well as morning and afternoon tea.
Highlights include the movie settings for Isengard, The Ford of Bruinen, Gladden Fields, The Pillars of the Kings, the exodus from Edoras, Warg Battle, Misty Mountains, Ithilien Camp, Oliphants, Caradhras, Lothlorien, Fangorn, Gap of Rohan, Dunharrow and many backgrounds to the scenes.

Weather Cancellation Policy

As part of this commitment, we reserve the right to delay or cancel any tours or activities if weather conditions are not suitable. This decision will be made by the Operations Manager or a delegated representative. Guides and Drivers are also authorized to modify their routes, or shorten a tour if weather conditions unexpectedly change.
