WalksHelen Clark and Shania Twain officially opened the Motatapu Track on 13th March 2008. The track, one of New Zealand 's newest nature activities, is 29 kilometres long and is deemed to be a 3 day walk or tramp. The Motatapu track is part of Te Araroa (The Long Pathway), which is a series of walks that will allow walkers to traverse the whole length of New Zealand. Nomad Safaris is proud to be associated with this track offering transport to and from Macetown, the southern end of the Motatapu track. From Queenstown: Either 8am or 1.30pm pick-up and includes tour on the way into Macetown.
